  1. I need to obtain my late first cousin’s DD-214 Korean War service record in order to seek a service medal in his honor through the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Both of his parents are deceased.

Harold died in Korea in 1951. I attended his funeral in 1952 when his remains were returned to Louisiana. I was 10 years old at the time of his funeral, but I remember it as it was a closed coffin funeral.

My late mother Rosemary Rovira Koine was my cousin Harold J.Rovira, Jr.’s aunt.

Thank you for any help you can give me.

    Best Wishes,

    Paulette Koine Mauterer
First Cousin kinship of Harold J. Rovira, Jr. (deceased)
