MyFallenSoldiers is an effort to discover, preserve and promote the stories of sacrifice made by U. S. soldiers who died in the line of duty.
This site creates the first publicly accessible, searchable electronic record of soldiers who died in service in multiple eras of history. This site allows visitors to learn and share information that helps create this valuable historic record.
This is an active project created by Jay M. Young of Evansville, Indiana. This growing collection of information currently contains profiles about soldiers who served since the Revolution. More than half a million soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice are memorialized here, making this the largest known memorial of U.S. soldiers in the world. We understand the importance of this information as an historical record, a source of family history and a place to remember those soldiers and their relatives who made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve and defend the United States of America. These are the reasons we share this project as a work in progress. In doing so, we hope the public benefits and takes ownership of this site as a place to learn, share, and remember these fallen heroes.
Visitors are encouraged to contribute information on each soldier’s guestbook or by sending information to [email protected]
