Good morning,
I am an Aviation researcher presently writing the history of all Royal Australian Air Force aircraft used in WW2.
For your information, Lieutenant Everett Merton Woodward Jr (22) of Leominster, Massachusetts USA was Killed in Action on 06Nov44. Lt E.M Woodward and Ensign W. G Madden were serving with No.456 Night Fighter RAAF and departed Ford in Mk.XVII Mosquito HK357 at 2200hrs for an operational patrol in the Holland – Belgium battle area. After making routine contact with Durrington GCI in West Sussex nothing was heard from the crew again and they were listed as MIA, later upgraded to KIA.
