Death details: Killed in Vietnam when U.S. troops mistakenly opened fire on his patrol. A news report from Washington D.C. said the Defense Deprtment listed him as a Vietnam fatality attributed to “natural causes.” Pedro’s brother later said there were told the truth by the soldier who came to their house.
