Death details: He suffered a gunshot wound in the leg while on a helicopter leading the attack on enemy forces in Panama. Denson proceeded off the helicopter and was killed by a subsequent mortar barrage.
Cemetery: Elmwood Memorial Park’s Field of Honor. Memorialized at the Martin D. Denson VFW Post 6873.
