Death details: Died non-battle. An Army soldier whose job was to identify Americans killed in the Gulf War recognized one as the man she planned to marry next fall. Army Specialist Holly Perkins, 21, said her fiance was killed by a land mine while scavenging for souvenirs in Kuwait.
