Death details: Died when his Cessna 172 clipped a power line and crashed in the desert near Naval Air Station Fallon, Nevada. They were assigned to Whidbey Island, Washington Naval Air Station and were on a traiing mission at Fallon Naval Air Station when they rented the civilian aircraft.
