Death details: Death was first ruled a suicide at First Landing State Park, Virginia Beach, Virginia. However, an follow-up investigation led to the arrest of Paul Stephen Bricker, 27. He pleaded guilty in 2018 to voluntary manslaughter. Curran recruited Bricker to help him die. They had served together.
