CWO2 James Frew Collins was my Uncle. He was my father, John R Collins younger brother. Uncle Jim flew Cobra Helicopters as an Observation Pilot. He was killed in the Quang Tri Province of Vietnam along with his co-pilot, CPT Stephen Whisnant when the helicopter they were flying in was shot down. He was survived by his wife, Susan and son, James. He has a grandson, Christopher. Uncle Jim is also my brother in arms as well as fellow combat Veteran.
