Death details: On April 9, 1996, the U.S. Army Central Identification Laboratory-Hawaii (CILHI, now DPAA) identified the remains of Corporal Arthur Leo Seaton, missing from the Korean War. Corporal Seaton entered the U.S. Army from Pennsylvania and served in Battery A, 503rd Field Artillery Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division. He was captured on February 12, 1951, while fighting in South Korea, and died in captivity on or about April 30, 1951. His remains were recovered in 1993, and CPL Seaton was identified in 1996. CPL Seaton is memorialized on the Courts of the Missing at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. His name is also inscribed on the Korean War Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, DC, which was updated in 2022 to include the names of the fallen.
