I Just woke up from a dream!! And it was there by my side again! It was my big brother! I grew up with him, and he was the senior linebacker and now the starting free safety as a freshman. Two of only about 4 or 5 starting white players at dardy High schools football team. It was the toughest son of a b**** I ever knew! It wasn’t for him. I don’t think I would have made it this far in life! He insisted that I be the toughest son of a b**** too and wouldn’t let me quit anything! His passion and toughness drove me and it’s dripping me through life and I’m missing more than you could ever know! The pain of thinking of him is almost unbearable. I don’t know if anyone out there will ever read this, but I just had to share it. I lost my big brother. It was my hero. I don’t never forget him. It’s kind of ironic, but My name is Rodney Shane Gooden, we share those same initials and it’s always been special to me! If you can hear me brother. I miss you with all my heart and I love you. Hope to see you on the other side brother!
